What is the Lausd Welligent login portal?

Lausd Welligent portal is a portal for the Los Angeles Unified School District, used for online Individualized Education Program (IEP) and tracking of related services (such as speech and language, physiotherapy, vision and hearing screenings, nursing services, health information etc.) provided to students during their education.

Through this portal, administrators can monitor IEP timelines and service delivery, and generate reports to ensure compliance with special education laws and regulations

What are the login requirements?

How to sign in to the Welligent Login Portal?

Here are the steps that you need to follow in order to sign in faster:

1. Visit the official site: www.welligent.com
2. In the top right of your screen, choose the “Login” option
3. Next, input your Username and Password
4. Finally, click the “Sign in” button to finish your process

Note: Welligent is currently available to those connected to the LAUSD network (either via Wi-Fi or a wired connection). It is not enabled to those connected outside the LAUSD network. We do not yet have a timeline for when they will be made accessible to users outside the LAUSD network.

How to require and reset a forgotten password?

SSO is the single sign-on special password to Welligent. To use it, a user must meet the following requirements:

• 26 characters maximum in length
• No symbols +, |, \, %, <, >, ‘, “
• Don’t end with a zero

Follow this guide to change or reset your account information:

1. Visit https://achieve.lausd.net/Page/467 
2. Choose the Self Service Console for Single Sign-on (SSO) for the Account Issues link
3. After the new page displays, enter your Welligent Account, Challenge Question and Challenge Response into the appropriate fields. Or dial ITD-Helpdesk at 213-241-5200, then press Option 2.
4. Next, Click the “Login” button
5. Use the “New Password” field to create a new password, and the “Confirm New Password” field to verify it
6. After that, click “Reset Password” to finish the process

Note: To protect yourself and the District, keep these tips in mind when managing your online accounts:

• Use a unique and complex password/PIN for each of your online accounts, and do not use the same password/PIN for your District account as on any other account
• Never use your date of birth, social security number, or other personally identifying information as a password/PIN
• Secure your accounts with multi-factor authentication (MFA), whenever you can
• Frequently monitor your online accounts and be sure to look for any unusual withdrawals, deposits or transactions
• Make sure your computer(s) are up-to-date with the latest operating systems, patches, and anti-virus software
• Shred all mailed receipts, credit offers and account statements to prevent “dumpster divers” from obtaining your personal information
